Hey ya CO!
It's 12 more days before SYF! I know that during this 12 days we would be real busy w our practice! Therefore sleep early, and keep yourself healthy alright! It would be really tough during the final week, so let's do our best and show to the people out there that CO can also do it! Let's continue to work hard towards our goal! (: CO HWAITING!

Good News for ALL! Please take note that, This coming Tuesday 8 March 2011, will be our rehearsal for SYF @ Singapore Conference Hall. Time: 2.15pm -10pm (back time tentaive) Please don't be late when you report. Unvaild reason will not be accepted. Please tune your Instrument straight after you enter the room. Practice will start at 2.45pm SHARP. Consent form will be given out ASAP....

Dear Peeps, please read the Criteria for the upcoming SYF 2011. Judging criteria are as follows:
Participating Chinese orchestras will be awarded certificates based on their performances as follows:
Gold with Honours 85% and above
Gold 80% and above
Silver 70% to 79%
Bronze 60% to 69%
Certificate of Participation 59% and below
Here is some videos from a Taiwan Secondary CO and the last one is from the Primary school CO. Do watch and learn how good their skills and 默契 are.

Hi All Sec 1s Juniors, This coming 21/1/2011(Friday) will be the Sec 1 Orientation CLAPS Day. We will be introducing all the Instruments we had to you! We will be playing some pieces, to let you'all have an idea of what ChineseOrchestra is, and how can a ChineseOrchestra play those POP songs that is going round the World~~~ So do look forward to this up-coming Friday. And Hope you'all will enjoy =)

Introduction.
no music, no life;
The Yuying Chinese Orchestra was established in June 2004 and has a current strength of 90 students and 5 teachers.
The Chinese Orchestra managed to clinch the Gold Award in the 2009 SYF Central Judging and Silver Awards for both
2005 and 2007 SYF Central Judging. With the help of experienced instructors from the Singapore Chinese Orchestra
and the conductor Miss Ding Xiao Yan, the Chinese Orchestra has instilled in its member a love for Chinese music
and appreciation for musical instruments.
